12 of the World's Dreamiest Closets

We write a lot of practical posts about things like where to put your clothes if your apartment doesn't have any closets and how to make the most of your tiny closet if you do have one. This is not one of those posts. This post is dedicated to the giant, room-sized, lust-worthy boudoirs of fashion bloggers and celebrities and other enviable people. They may not look a lot like your closet or mine — but they sure are pretty.

Above: The space that launched a thousand Pinterest boards: Jenna Lyons' spare bedroom-turned-closet, from Domino.

A beautiful custom closet by Kvanum. Bigger than my apartment, and better lit too.

The closet of Italian fashion desgner and blogger Chiara Ferragni actually looks like a pretty cool place to hang out.

This closet, from BHG, sports a bit more of a dressed-up look.

This is the closet of style blogger Krystine Edwards, spotted on One Kings Lane. While your closet may not be quite this large, the shelves, at least, are pretty attainable — they're from IKEA.

Black cabinetry adds a touch of glamour to a closet from Lonny.

The closet of blogger Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies also functions as a home office. We can't blame her for never wanting to leave.

The shoe storage in Rachel's closet above is nothing to scoff at, but I think the shoe-armoire in this closet from This is Glamorous takes the cake.

A more minimally styled space from Desire to Inspire (that also appears to berocking the IKEA).

The closet of Lori Levine, spotted on The Coveteur, features a delicious shade of mint and some really serious shoe storage.

A closet with a view, from Architectural Digest.

And finally, via Stylecaster, a closet that we all know and love — the walk-in space from Carrie Bradshaw's NYC pad. Definitely not realistic for a studio apartment, or really any apartment, but this is the stuff dreams are made of.
